Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, we currently offer a one (1) month free trial for all ECE programs. You will be charged after that. You may cancel the subscription before the trial period ends.
What are the different pricing plans that Sub Start offers?

How fast can an agency fulfill a job request for a substitute teacher?
The Sub Start is an online booking system. It will help you book and manage your sub pool in an efficient manner. Basically, it depends on your subs’ availability and your specific request.
Does Sub Start provide substitute teachers?
No, Sub Start only offers the online booking platform. If you are interested in requesting our sub teachers and you are located in San Francisco, please check out this website www.substart.com for more information.
How does the billing work?
Sub Start charges customers once per month or once per year using the credit card you entered, depending on if you choose monthly or annual subscriptions.
Who are your customers?
Sub Start serves different ECE programs such as Head Start, non-profit, for-profit, private, independent, religious, and any schools that serve 0-5 years old children, across California, USA.
Can I add additional center/location(s) and/or sub teacher(s)?
Absolutely, you can add more centers/locations and sub teachers in your agency portal. However, there will be add-on fees applied to your account based on the additional number of centers and sub teachers. Please go to our website “Pricing” page for more information.
Can I add additional classroom(s)to one location?
Yes, you can add as many classrooms as you wish to your existing location(s).
Can I add more Sub Start admin user accounts in my agency portal?
Yes, you can add more user accounts in your agency portal based on your needs. Generally, you will have the following types of users: 1) Super admin, 2) Manager, 3) Site Supervisor, 4) General User.
Can I cancel my subscription with Sub Start?
Yes, please refer to the Terms & Conditions of Service for more information.
Can I save more than one credit card in my account and choose the preferred method of payment?
Yes, in the Payment section, you can edit your payment preferences.
How do I enroll in autopay?
When making a payment or by adding a new payment method, select enable autopay to use this payment method. Please note new invoices will automatically be paid when they are created using this payment method.
